I have a 40 oz. hydroflask water bottle and had trouble finding a holder for my bike that it would fit. This holder is durable and my bottle fits perfectly;

Very sturdy. Fits Nalgene 32oz OR KleanKanteen 32oz insulated with the TK-Wide lid edition.
If you need the opening to be wider grab the vertical rails and squeeze making a larger circumference to the entry.;

I purchased this along with the standard sized bottle holder. The Mojave is a sturdy piece pretty sure I could use it as a step or cinder block carrier. So far I've tested it with a 40oz insulated bottle a Stanley thermos and the Nalgene Silo pictured and it's worked great. Even with 48oz on board the bottle goes nowhere. Not very easy to pull from while riding as the bottle is held in by the spring tension if the cage but I just use it for refills during rest stops anyway. Probably wouldn't be a good fit for tight geometry frames as you can't pull the bottle to the side until it's nearly clear of the holder.;
