I got one of these many years ago when my son was on his first bicycle. It gives the option of putting a bottle on a bike without factory options. I used it on a bike with bladed tubing (not round) which helped keep it from moving much. With round tubing you may need to improvise something for extra traction like pieces of cut inner tube between the cage and the bike.;

I've been buying these for years for my walker and wheelchair. It does quickly change between the two but I'm rather lazy. It's much better than the cup holders advertised by medical supply companies.;

It holds securely to the bike frame but there is no easy way to deal with the excess velcro strapif your tubing is a smaller diameter. It would be ideal to tuck it back underneath the rubber wedge but I was no able to successfully accomplish that so it either sticks out the side or I can place it behind the bottle. Speaking of bottles this will hold a standard plastic sports bottle but something like a Klean Kanteen that is slightly more narrow will not be secure in this cage. It mightbe possible to bend the bottle cage inward a bit but at the risk of damaging the product I did not want to try. Overall if you are just carrying plastic sports bottles and want to strap this to your downtube seat tube or forks this will be sufficient for that. Otherwise just get a water bottle cage that you already know fits your bottle and get the Two Fish cage adapter that should work with any standard third-party bottle cage.;
