For some reason, Sealskinz doesn't give the recommended temperature range for their gloves but I can say these are perfect for cycling between 40 F and 59 F. Any warmer and your hands will overheat and any cooler and they won't keep your hands warm (fleece/lycra liners might help a bit). When it gets into the 30s and below, I break out my Sealskinz battery heated gloves. When cycling, there's a lot of wind moving over your hands and that will quickly dissipate heat from the gloves. If you're doing something where wind is minimal (running, hiking, shoveling snow, etc.) then I suspect these gloves might keep your hands warm into the lower 30s and overheat in the lower 50s. As with other Sealskinz gloves, the Velcro straps are too short and the cuffs are too tight and that makes it tricky to get the gloves off and on, especially if they're moist with perspiration inside. I do like how these are machine washable. I recommend gentle washing in cold water and ONLY air dry. Maybe hang them under a heating vent because gloves can be hard to dry inside.;

These gloves are absolutely great. Bought them on offer and they're that good I got my dad a pair.;

I've been motorcycling and cycling for years and these are the best gloves I have ever had for keeping hands dry and wind free. it is surreal to be in a biting wind and to not feel it at all on your hands. i took note of an earlier review and ordered a larger pair than I needed so I could wear thinsulate gloves underneath for the sub zero mornings, this worked really well when icy. Worth every penny.;
