Pedro's Star Nut Setter Star Nut Setting Tool W/ Guide For 1" & 1 1/8" Steerers

One of those tools that will not find daily use in my toolbox but a critical one to have if you find yourself looking for reasons to build another bike or fork upgrades. Solid construction and finish. The kind of equipment you'd expect from Pedro's. Didn't come with instructions but so easy a caveman could do it.;

Excelent! High carbon steel very heavy duty and threaded very well. 5 stars all the way and is set straight. Beveled perfectly and has 1" and 1 1/8" setting.;

The two piece design is excellent. Easily centers and straightens the star nut while pounding it in. With a one piece nut setter it is difficult to get the nut started. The guide for the Pedro's setter gets the nut started easily and keeps it straight all the way in. The is not a tool that I will use often. But I'm glad it is in my tool box.;

Good fit well machined. I used the 1 1/8 setting. Wish I bought this 10 years ago instead of having to go to the shop.;
