Would recommend putting a thin towel or shop rag between the tool and bottom bracket it has a tendency to scratch it up more so than the cup style tool;

I had to purchase this tool to strip &. fit the FSA -BB386 B/B. I have 4 B/B extractor tools but none fitted this B/B . This is a must in the workshop .A top quality tool with two different size end's. I am very pleased with this and can confirm buying this from Amazon they are the cheapest on the net .
