I have a tablet - not a phone - but will recommend this mount over many others as long as the phone fits. I use this to mount a very small radio on my bike. The mount is very robust with thick rubber providing good shock resistance. In my city people will steal anything off a bike just for kicks so I take this off at almost every stop. It's just a little difficult to get on and off but due to the quality and robust features the trade off is worth it.;

I need to turn the volume up or down on phone and be able to look at the biking trail map while biking. Plus it holds it on really secure. I have bought one for each one of bikes. It is cheaper on Amazon then buying at the store.;
