The smaller of the two caps will be needed for a DT SWISS 350 hub, for converting to a SRAM 1-12 drive train. To remove the old one, pull with a pair of players remove the hub, clean and replace with a XD Driver from 365 bikes. The 3 "PAUL" Ratcheting will not work. Grease with Phil Wood grease (not to much). Reassemble. Need more help. See YouTube videos on this or ask me. Torque to 35 foot pounds.;

The description of the product isn't clear and I got confused and I understood that this caps will change from 142 to 148 the width of the hub.;

Perfect endcap replacements for DT Swiss 240S hubs. I bought a new gravel frame, and needed to swap out the QR caps for TA ones. If you have 240S hubs, this is what you need to change over to 12 x 140 n the rear. Swapping the caps out is easy. On the drive side, you need to remove the cassette to pull the caps off. On the rotor side, you will need to remove the rotors. After getting those removed, I put the old caps in an axle vise and popped them off in a snap. It doesn’t take much to break the o-ring seal when removing them. Clean the hubs off and slide the new ones on, and push them in until don’t go in any further. The long endcap is on the rotor side, the short one is on the drive side.;
