The Basis grip is designed for applications where the rider wants a firm, direct connection for performance in high intensity scenarios such as DH racing applications. Basis is a thin diameter grip with a dimpled pattern that firm yet tacky and less prone to surface wear. The Basis is made with a special formulated rubber compound that combines a soft 25a durometer and a proprietary additive for a combination of tackiness and durability.

I've tried many different grips over the years. I like the Chromag Basis the best (2nd is the Lizard Skins Bearclaw). I like a thin grip with a tacky feel. There is enough cushion for me and I wear them with gloves with a light gel palm.;

Fast shipping! Grips feel great tacky with enough cushion without losing any control. Unfortunately my pair were missing a screw so a minor annoyance. Would recommend making sure screws are tight enough to avoid falling out in packaging/transit.;

They are good not great. I am a faithful Chromag guy so I am sticking with them but my hands tend to get fatigued by these.;
