Wera 8100 SA 8 Zyklop Metal Ratchet Set - 1/4" Drive, Metric, Switch Lever

This is a neat kit to be honest I like how the sockets register on the storage strip with a click turn. I also like the quality of the parts included and the thought that's gone into putting a practical set together. However the ratchet suffers malfunctions due to the switch lever randomly jumping out of position. (regardless of direction) This is the replacement set I got as the first one was a complete non starter I put up with it as it's the best of a bunch I've tried. They all seem to have the same inherent problem and wera doesn't seem to be interested in rectifying the issue.
For all of Wera's engineering excellence I think the ratchet needs a re-think as does the use of Velcro and elastic in their pouches it won't stand the test of time.
Buy good and buy once but in this case don't expect the pouch to last more than a couple of months constant use.;

Perfect material the case looks could go on for years.
Only negative the extension feels loosi on the socket side.;

So when I received this product I was very excited about it only to find out that the switch mechanism is messed up. It slips when turning the wrench. Very shocked given the price of this product. I was given a replacement and yet again the same issue. So just keep in mind you may be getting a defective wrench.;

I dont wanna want too ruin the rating of this product because it's a great product but this is a bad batch with a manufactured flaw that needs to be addressed;
