I've got bad knees and hips so sometimes dismounting a bike is a challenge. If I had this mounted on the back it would be very tough to swing my leg around so I did a front mount. Now on grocery run I can take the basket with me in the store and mount back on when done. It's quite robust and will fit a lot.;

Needed a basket to carry groceries or takeout when out on the bike instead of taking the car. I'd already purchased the Topeak rack along with a bag that slides on top of it so adding the basket was an easy next step. The basket is reasonably sized and appears sturdy. It has a handle and I suppose I could take it into the store when I shop. I just leave it on the bike though.;
