Topeak Long Mounting Bracket Arms For Small Frames and Baby Seat Rack 13.5" Long

Topeak explore bike rack that I used on my Trek would not fit on my new E Bike due to the size of the frame. Found these Topeak extra long tubula mounting brackets on Amazon. Worked perfectly! I can now use my bike rack and basket on my new bike. I could not be more pleased;

I got the Topeak Super Tourist for Disc Brakes rear bike rack with the Topeak MTX basket. I'm on the tall side and so the seat ends up being pretty far back...so far back that the basket (when installed on the rack) was bumping the seat.

Even with the Tourist all the way back on the rails the basket was too close to the seat.

So I order these longer rails.

They work. I can move the Tourist back far enough that the basket is a safe 1-2" from the back of the seat.

Unfortunately the rack now slants downward toward the back of the bike. Not a lot...but it sure would be nice if I could increase the length of the rack's rear axle post so that the seat was (as recommended by Topeak) slanted slightly forward.

Still...that's a problem with the rack not with these extender bars. These bars will get your Topeak rear rack farther back. That's what they're for and they work.;

Exactly what I need to fit a bike rack to a bike with rear suspension but they were a little expensive. Quality was good.;

The extensions are high quality. They allowed me to install a bicycle rear rack on a small adult Giant bicycle.

It comes with SS socket head cap screws.;

Brought rear bike rack from another company claiming to fit 26 - 29 frame imagine my surprise when the front frame straps weren’t long enough.
