    Pros: sturdy and easy to use once mounted. Well made and accommodates various bike sizes.

    Cons:
    time consuming to mount to the car.
    Not really convenient if you need to attach and remove after every use like I do. (I park outside and don't want to risk theft)
    Locks are optional and require a separate purchase.;

    Installation is easy and rock solid in securing my precious cargo! Fits my large frame full suspended trail bike that has 29”x2.6” tires without touching the frame! Picked a winner!;

    I've always been a Yakima user but Yakima didn't have a base rack system that would fit my car. My OCD said "Now you need Thule holders for the Thule crossbars." Yes brain now I have 2 of these.

    I think that the Yakima Highroller is a better rack but not for the bike holding capabilities. Both hold the bike just fine but I'm not as confident in the mechanism that locks the rack to the crossbar on the Thule. This would have been minimized if the locking handle were something other than plastic. Cut the plastic handle and the whole rack can be removed bike and all.

    Yes the locks on racks are never the highest security but this makes it easier to steal than it needs to be.;
