SRAM Rival 22 Brake Caliper Set Front and Rear

So I ordered these thinking they were a decent value and lighter than the 105 brakes. I stumbled upon a set of Apex calipers at the bike shop I was helping out at and they are literally IDENTICAL in every single way except for the decals. They weigh the same amount even the quick release tab is the same. I was pissed that I dropped almost $100 on these. Needless to say I'm returning them. I ended up going with the Apex brakes and like them.;

Great upgrade from oem brakes on the road bike. These brakes installed easily enough and adjusting them is a painless experience. Once adjusted they stay put. They stop the bike well - I can lock the wheels up without too much effort. And modulation is great and linear - the brakes respond very predictably to increased force applied at the levers. Again a great upgrade from the oem brakes.;

Very decent brakeset. There is a good amount of modulation to the calipers and if you really need to stop you will. I am currently looking to get some Swisstop pads for the brakes; will update this review when I get some distance with the new brake pads.
This is no dura-ace brake but it's very light and a fraction of the price of DA.

Update: With Swisstop pads these calipers are not short on stopping power. Very strong and better modulation!;

Work great with wider (23mm) rims;

Good design however bolts are rusting (not stainless steel);
