Standard size for a P. Slope frame rear brake caliper is 140mm. I wanted to change out to a 180mm for my code rsc so I needed a 40mm adapter this works perfectly and oil slick/rainbow/ petroleum bolts match the brakes. I also got a 20mm adapter for the front.

I wanted more braking power and heat resistance from my SRAM Code R's by upgrading to SRAM 220mm rotors. I bought these along with SRAM 220mm diameter 2mm thick rotors to test them on both front and rear and I found them to work perfectly!

I need less finger force to get the same amount of braking power so this helps with hand fatigue. It did take me a couple of rides to get used to the additional braking power and stop locking up the brakes.

I've had them for 2 months now with no issues.

One note if you want to use 220mm SRAM rotors... they are thicker at 2mm than the 200mm 180mm 160mm rotors which are 1.8mm thick. Centering the brakes is a bit more difficult because of the added thickness. And some aftermarket brake pads may not work as the pads may be too thick for a 2mm thick rotor. Additionally you will need to push the pistons back in all the way to get the clearance needed for this thick rotor.

Otherwise if you're upgrading to 200mm rotors with these adapters it should be easypeasy.;
