Spank Spike Pedals feature an aluminum body with a full-anodized finish with steel, replaceable pins for durability and traction. The axle is designed to not interfere with crank boots. Slim 12mm race and freeride pedal for maximized pedaling clearance. Forged alloy body is shot peened and anodized for increased durability. Equipped with hollow taper chromoly steel axles for strength. Sealed bearings and IGUS bushings. 20 preassembled pins in virtual concavity for ultimate grip. Recommended for: ASTM 5, All mountain, free ride, DH, E-Bike. Crank boot compatible axle.

This is my second pair or Spank Spike pedalsÔøΩ super durable and the grip is unparalleled. Pedals are a perfect fit for a size 11 wide foot. I ride these pedals with Five Ten shoes. Some reviewers complain that the pedals are too grippy. Yes the pegs are aggressive and you have to pick up your foot completely off the pedal to readjust your stance if it doesnÔøΩt feel right. However you will have confidence youÔøΩll be able to maintain contact with the pedal through some gnarly terrain. Once you get used to them they will boost your confidence.
