SKS Anywhere Adapter, Water Bottle Cage Mounting Adapter: Black

I will say I have purchased three of these and two have been good. One kept loosening up and it was carrying my Nalgene bottle on the front fork. I tried tightening both bolts but it kept spinning. So I took it off and tried tightening it and the back rubber piece popped off and the small metal plate was exposed and turned. As I said two have been good for me they carry small dry bags and no issues but this one was just either a defect or too much weight on the Blackburn cage.;

My bike only has one set of frame holes. This fixed that problem like a dream!;

This odd frame 80s bike has a triangle shaped bottom tube and the top ones are tiny. This was the prefect thing to get a bottle holder to fit! The bike was a road find that I just had tunned up and the bike store was stumped as to where and how to install bottle holder.;

I use this in conjunction with a Wolf Tooth double bottle cage adaptor. It looks like I've got a payload of bottle bombs hanging from my top tube. Works like a champ for carrying two bottles on a full suspension bike. I've ridden a handful of backcountry rides and park days with this setup and the cages have stayed put. That's 41 oz of water weight two bottles and Wolf Tooth adaptor being secured by these SKS mounts. The straps are plenty long for oversized aluminum and carbon fiber tubes.;
