I used this on a rear wheel that wouldn’t sit perfectly in the drops. The wheel kept shifting. With my high-quality open-cam skewer I would close the skewer with so much force that it felt like it was about to snap yet it still didn’t hold the wheel securely and the wheel would still shift slightly in the drops mid-ride. However with this Ultegra closed-cam skewer the wheel finally stays firmly in the drops even on gravel and I can use less force to close it than I did with my other skewers. No more shifting. The issue is resolved. All is good. Color-wise it doesn’t match my other skewer or anything else about my bike. But that’s quite Ok. Function first and it functions quite well. Very happy and it’s great to ride knowing that everything will stay in place. If you need a great skewer go for this one.;

Does what it was designed to do - looks authentic - my general concern with any 'branded' products purchased this way - stamping a product falsely does occur more than one would imagine...;

What can I say other than it being a typical high quality Shimano product with a great cam release.;

Was have a problem with my old road bikes back wheel getting pulled against my chain stays under heavy pedaling. Not anymore. I replaced my old Shimano QR with this one and problem solved hasn't moved at all since.;
