RockShox Motion Control RL Compression Adjuster Knob Kit w/ Screw for Reba RL

This was bought for a 29er Reba RL Dual Air (2012) which was fitted with a remote poploc and had served well for the past 10 years. Unfortunately the poploc suffered irrepairable damage after a recent fall.

Decided to change to the crown mounted manual lockout so after contacting the default seller Hike Bike & Ride to check compataibilty (they failed to reply to my query) I then contacted Y Frame Discounts Ltd who were selling this for a few pence dearer. They did reply (thank you Y Frame) and confirmed it was the correct item: not surprisingly I paid the little extra and purchased from them instead of Hike Bike & Ride.

It does seem a little expensive for such a small thing but after disconnecting the damper spring and fitting this manual lockout it really does fit correctly and works as intended. Whilst not as convenient as the remote poploc I guess it's just a matter of time before I get used to using a crown mounted lockout.
