I read a few reviews of this product that said things like it seemed cheap (it's solid metal I expected plastic based on that) and that it wasn't that easy to use and getting a socket would be better. It couldn't have been easier to use. Pop it in the crank which is only so deep slide the 8 mm through simple. A 16 mm socket is 2 or 3 times the price. I'm glad I went with this but the reviews made it a harder decision than it should have been.;
