Race Face Ambush Knee Guard Black XL Shock Absorbing Foam Moisture Wicking

I bought these for the novel way you can put them on and take them off - works great.
I normally use IXS Carve so these felt a little bulky but they feel/ work so well I got used to them in no time.
I slid out on my first ride and the extra padding on the sides really came in handy!;

What are these like? I was at the bike park for 2+ hours in 70 degree weather hitting the jumps and features. I ride back to the car take off my helmet gloves put the bike away and hop in the car. It was only then I realized I was still wearing the RockFace kneepads. So the comfort is unreal.

There are three adjustment straps so they hug your legs without pinching. The sizing was true. The only thing I haven't tested yet is crash durability. Hopefully that is further out.;

If you're thinking of buying these. Stop thinking and just buy them!

They fit perfectly and after a few minutes you really do forget you are wearing them. Even on a long climb. They are so comfortable and not having to take your shoes off to put them on/off with the wrap around design is a godsend on a wet day.

Sizing: I'm between an 18/19 inch thigh and I went for the XL. Glad I did as I think they would of been a bit tight on the medium size. So I would suggest maybe sizing 1 up if you're unsure.

So yeah. Fit and forget pads that stay in place. No chaffing with the open back design and they also fit underneath my Endura MT500 Spray pants.

Decent protection and side protection too.
