MKS Urban Platform Pedals 9/16" Chromoly Axle Alloy Body With Flip Tongue Black

I got tired of carrying an extra pair of shoes when just riding around town so I ditched the clipless pedals. I have these on two bikes with MKS stainless cages and nylon straps they are a better version of the classic Lyotard platforms. The sealed bearing are like silk the machining is flawless. BTW some people commented that these are slippery. They ARE NOT intended to be used without clips!;

I switched to these after having knee problems from using clipless pedals. Pair them with Velo Orange half clips and they are the bomb! Easy to get into AND out of. Note: these must be used with some type of clip because they don't have any grip to keep your feet in place.;

Beautiful pedals but designed to be dysfunctional for larger shoes. I am 6'-0" with 10.5 narrow shoes and these platforms are dramatically too small. The insides of the pedals have these two tabs which prevent your foot from centering on the small platform. The tabs force your shoe position outwards - consequently you ride with the outside of your shoe hanging out. It's a pity because the rest of the pedal feels great. If you have large feet skip these pedals.;

Nice pedals. Very smooth and easier to clip into than the platform pedals that came with my bike.I plan on buying another pair for my other bike.;

these bearings are insanely smooth. Extremely sturdy. fairly narrow i wear indoor soccer shoes while riding and it fits perfect. almost zero grip. so make sure you pair it with some quality cages.;
