These are great in a pinch but it's pretty difficult to get your fingers in between them when you are trying to lock in your master link.;

I will still give them 5 star review even though I don't like that the magnets can fall out so easy.
Even with out those magnets though it's still a very nice light weight chain tool to have with you on the trail.
It's super useful to be able to cut the chain and use a master link when needed. the pliers are also super useful they hold the chain together like a third hand when you need it and can open a master link with ease.
I really like how versatile these are and they're made from very light weight aluminum super easy to take with you on a ride and not have to worry about chain breaking. Not sure why all these people gave the tool 1 star just because the magnets fall out. If anything take 1 star away or something like that for the magnets. The only job of those magnets is to hold the spare master links in place but I just put the master links in a plastic baggie and inside my handlebars it's the perfect place for those. Yes it's not as convenient I suppose as having them rigth there on the tool itself but honestly they should just make this tool without the master links holders then people would have nothing to complain about. Lezyne if you're reading this please keep making great products don't listen to the trolls. Maybe take those magnets out so they don't come off and sell the tool for like $5 less.;

While I haven't had the need to use it on the trail yet I did "bench test" each of the features. Each performed as expected! I agree that the magnetic retention for the repair links is a bit suspect (as reported by other reviewers) and shouldn't be relied upon.
