Difficult to open the way itÔøΩs designed with the stupid lever you have to slide open. I bought several cable locks like this and they all open easily. But not this one.

Good brand. Kryptonite is definitely well known. However . . . It’s a Level 1 lock. So if you are looking for something heavy duty DO NOT get this lock.

However since my previous lock (key-based not combo) jammed I needed a lock promptly. Thankfully living on university campus has its benefits one of them being security and University Police presence so despite the low-level security rating of this bike lock I’m not that concerned.

However your mileage may vary.;
