Extremely smooth and low friction I put this on a bike with an old chain and it honestly feels like new. I like the shininess too. The master link could have a bit tighter of a fit but they get harder to pull apart as they age so I guess it's fine. It's pretty quiet after lubricating and it's shinier than in the pictures.
