Runs larger than expected. Grips better than expected!

I usually am an 8.5 women's and these are gigantic. I have an entire thumb width at the front with my heel in the back of the shoe. Contemplating either an 8 or 7.5. Grip and durability are unparalleled so overall I am happy with the shoe just not the sizing.
