I got a flat tire 2 days after I install it. This time a tree limb punctured my tire at the bottom of the side wall.;

Installed these after getting a flat in the desert. So far so good.;

I would suggest having a bike mechanic put these in for you if you are not absolutely confident in your skills. It is really easy for these to misalign during installation and actually cause flat instead of protecting you from one. This happened to me the first time i tried them but the second time seems to have worked for me. keeping my fingers crossed that they hold out;

I haven't had a flat since I put these on my mtb. I ride in forested areas with lots of thorny vines. Rides usually ended pretty quickly before i put these on. My present bike's wheels did not work as tubeless so I bought these instead of buying tubeless wheels. They wrap up far enough on the sides of the tires to prevent side wall punctures also. I use tubeless tires on another mtb that work but found this accomplished the same end at a cheaper cost.;
