Great tool works fine but i noticed i can just fine pull the cable with some pliers. Works for one hand just fine. I like that park tool makes a tool for anything but i think unless you have a bike shop this tool is probably not needed - or you should get it as a gift (thinking that nowadays you will just use it for shifters);

If you bike a lot and do your own repairs consider investing in this tool. You won’t need to worry about injuring your hands by applying the necessary tension to cables. This tool does it for you. A little pricey but it’s park tool…it’ll outlive me.;
