            I've had a number of these over the years. Really great on a mostly black dog to keep track of in a large back yard when let out after dark. Easy to change out batteries when they get weak.;

            So I’ve been purchasing these lights by nightize since I first saw one years ago in Home Depot and thought “hey I could clip that on my dogs collar and stop hanging my headlamp around his neck to see at night.” Wasn’t long after I saw them marketing them as collar lights specifically.

            Those originals were great except for the need to replace batteries far too often. The lights themselves would last years .. even swimming in the ocean didn’t phase them much.

            Kept wishing they’d make a rechargeable and whaddya kno?! Great…! Right?! Well, not quite.

            It’s been about 3 months and we’ve gone thru 3 of these now they keep coming off her collar. One night had to walk a grid around the entire (very large) park until luckily finding. Since then it fell off not to be found. Same with the other two one coming off while driving with her head out the window only to discover it’s gone after arriving home and the third is anyones guess. And yea, I even had gone as far as to tape the ring on the collar as well as the carabiner itself with duck tape - exterior rated very durable stuff.

            The carabiner clip design needs to be able to lock on as some for keys do. And it needs to be stronger on the whole. Saw another pic posted illustrating what I mean. I’d post one but… alas…

            Also worth mentioning - had the pleasure of searching our yard for the back cover which came off (surprisingly due to how well it stays in place when needing to open for charging- would suggest they design it so when removed it’s still attached by a double silicone o ring of sorts.. picture one of those cock ring things for lack of more pg product coming to mind)

            if this wasn’t enough, the little button switch was also missing and took even more effort to find keeping an eye out for days while working around the house and luckily saw it and then resoldered it easy enough).

            So all that said they’ve been the better option, but there’s quite a few flaws in design which could easily be addressed. but hey, capitalism.. why make it to last when you can make for less $ and require repurchasing sooner .. double the $.

            Sigh… faccckkkin bezos …😔 send me another gonna have to make said improvements diy style and braze/weld the damn thing to the collar I guess.

            Oh yea as far as battery, things are champs. One charge and kept lit for longer than anticipated and recharged quickly. Only had to charge a couple times and would go weeks only turning on while out at night and turning off once home but even when forgot it would often be lit still in the morning.;

            The light looses the brightness and then turns off. This is only walking around three blocks. Then I have to turn it back on again and light is dull. Starts off bright but doesn’t last.;
