These things built well enough but they’re just not well designed. Most of the pedal is thinner but there’s a raised part in the center where the bearing is so it’s not like your gaining any ground clearance. The bearing also means the pedal isn’t flat which kinda defeats the point of getting flats. Also I couldn’t get foot straps through them I was using the origin8 ones so maybe the gates straps will work better but I’d be surprised if that were true. If you really want these they seem to be built well enough but I’d say just get regular flats these are uncomfortable and inconvenient for no particular reason;

Nice quality pedals. Fit perfectly. Love the bright color. Love the slim size.;

Local bike brand with great gear.;

Sleek strong and a huge decrease in weight coming from standard Neco pedals.;

I was running them with straps. The slant to these pedals is the opposite of what you would hope if you are flipping your pedals. They were obv designed to run with Fyxation's excellent straps but not only do they lack a flip tab: They are slanted the opposite of a flip tab. It's bizarre.

I got used to it but I wouldn't buy them again especially for fixed gear where flipping is a precise motion that needs to work consistently. I just gave that bike to a friend and he gave up flipping immediately - I don't blame 'em.;
