The evolution of the successful GE1. The new rider-oriented, ergonomic grip for wide riser bars. Thanks to the feedback collected from countless riders of the Enduro World Series, the Ergon design team succeeded in further improving the popular GE1 in certain details. Surface texture is now even more slip-proof and the rubber compound softer, lending constant precise grip. It actively supports the correct torso/forearm position during downhill riding by rotating the grip area towards the steering axle by 8 % the elbows are automatically outwardly raised. Forged inner clamp, fully integrated grip end connected to the inner corethis establishes a soft, damping grip edge, and your hand can grip right at the outer edge. Pressure is diminished from the sensitive ulnar nerve, which is located on the outside hand. Compatible with carbon handlebars.

  • Maximum hand grip is assured with use of silicone-based rubber compounds
  • Texture orientation which is opposite the rotation of the hand

I run GE1 Evo Factory grips on all my mountain bikes. They are durable compliant and function extremely well in all situations. Their asymmetrical shape fits the hand nicely vs. more conventional cylindrical grips. They wear very well vs. softer styles. NOTE these are not particularly "squishy" so if you prefer that (for example Deity Supracush) these might not be ideal for you. Ditto if you like to ride bare-handed vs. wearing gloves (which I think is nuts but people do it!). Ergon makes quality components - you'll be happy with these...

I bought these because I was having a lot of problems with my hands/fingers going numb. So far I have ridden one trail and I can say my hands/fingers did not go numb on me. I hope it stays like this. Love the look and they're very comfortable.
