The offset is just what I needed to get my fit right. Easy to get the alignment right as well fore/aft.;

If you need to back up from your handlebars and you've run out of room on your seat rails this will give you a little bit extra backup space. Two drawbacks:

1. You can't use the full setback potential of this seat because if you set your seat all the way back the nose of your
seat will be point up
2. Mounting your seat on this post is not as easy as some others.;

This seat post is a highly polished beautiful addition to my wife’s bicycle. It’s nicer than I expected it to be and I may get one for my bicycle too!
I need to revise my original review because this seat post never made it to my wife’s bicycle it’s on my touring bike. I am using a Brooks B17 saddle and as some will understand very slight adjustments result in significant comfort change. I cannot overstate how happy I am with this seat post. I made 1 mm changes in the seat position and rode for five miles to see if there was improvement. This seat post made these tiny adjustments so easy! It is one of the best changes I have made to my bike ever! I am so glad I bought it!;

Looks to be great quality some reviews said they weren't sure about the seat clamps but they seem real good to me... and since my new bike has shocks it made the top tube a very steep rake so I wanted to get the seat as far back as possible... low does not work it's a matter of getting the seat back to give me more stand-over... and it helps...;

I bought this for the 30mm setback and it is as advertised. It's on the heavy side but VO is not about racing. It is nicely finished.

I'm not a fan of the clamping system. It's the kind where the seat angle changes as you tighten the bolts. This is called "adjustment" but it's actually pretty frustrating. I prefer clamps where the seat stays put as you tighten the bolt(s) and maybe some other bolt controls the tilt. I haven't broken anything yet but the upper clamp doesn't look very robust. Overtightening risks bending/stressing/breaking it. I would have liked torque specs.

If you need lots of setback and get the tilt right without breaking anything you will probably like this seatpost.;
