Manitou Milo Remote Lock Out Kit Die-cast Alloy Body Thumb Operated Lock

Purchased installed the Manitou Milo Remote Lock-Out to work w/a Manitou Markhor Fork. It has worked flawlessly for the past year. It’s been really nice to be able to stiffen/soften the forks on the fly.

When I first received the lock-out I was a bit worried. It did not look like it was very sturdy. It felt a bit too lightweight & I thought it might break easily. This has not been the case. All though I do not tear up the mountains I have gone over the bars & had a few unplanned dismounts while it’s been installed in my cockpit. Luckily the only thing I’ve had to do is rotate it back into position.

The installation was straight forward & only took about 10 minutes. Much easier & quicker than I had expected.

Overall I have been happy w/the functionality & durability of the lock-out. If you’re in need of a lock-out for your Manitou fork this may be what you need.
