Origin8 Track/SS Crankset 170x46 Aluminum 103mm JIS Square Taper

Its a rebranded crankset. Its fine but I wish I had saved a little and gone with the manufacturer's version.;

So I have owned this crankset for a year now and I felt little flexing in the arms. Very light and durable and reliable. I like to keep my chain a half inch slack from full tension to keep my ride smooth and extremely quiet. If you use the correct amount of grease and the cleanliness of the bottom bracket cups. Very nice look to my bike as well. I have put over 2700 miles and I am about to replace the bb shortly.;

This Origin8 crankset is tough and very nice looking. So far no warping from standing up in the pedals and putting the power down. There has been no thread stripping as is common on many aluminum single speed cranksets.;

A true beauty at less than 590g extremely lightweight and stiff. Very well made crankset and clearly more high-end than the Pure Fix 44T that I also ordered (see images). The Origin8 Crankset will work best with a 68x103mm bottom bracket on most single speed / track frames to create a nice chainline or about 45mm and small gap between cranks and frame (it looks like even narrower BB will work fine). Personally I had just installed a new 113mm bracket days before which is way too wide for the Origin8 crankset but nice with the purefix so I decided to return the Origin8 with tears in my eyes.;
