For a small price this sprocket will greatly increase the utility of your three-speed. It converts third gear (which is rarely used) into second gear and it converts second gear into first gear. Lastly it converts first gear into an ultra-low gear which is useful when riding up hills. I highy recommend it. (Note: you will need a new chain to go with this sprocket because your current chain will not be long enough to accomodate it.);

Had to add about 3 more links to the chain. Peddling is pretty easy now on the flats and up inclines great improvement. Can't go super fast though like over 15mph.;
