I bought the Ortlieb bag because I commute back and forth to work and I have a very heavy laptop computer and power supply that I was tired of carrying on my back. It's also a large laptop and I wasn't sure it would go into the bag but I had more than enough room for my lunch laptop/power supply an ice pack to keep the lunch cold and my jacket.

The bag clips on in a solid way and I had no concerns about it coming off the bike. Parts of the ride are on very bumpy trails and I didn't even hear any sounds coming from the bag and its mounting system.

The lunch even stayed cold as long as I kept the bag closed up.

I'm very pleased with the purchase and the overall quality of this bag. My only minor complaint was with the installation instructions. It is just a series of drawings and icons and little to no verbal explanation. There can be safety issues with straps left loose which (to be fair) were made clear on the icons but I think verbiage would help as well. I also had some trouble understanding the icons on the lower part of the bag that clips to the rack.

Still I highly recommend the bag and I look forward to many years of use.;
