Origin8 XLT Square Taper JIS Sealed Bearings English 100x164mm Bottom Brackets

Just what I needed thanks .;

Bought this for my 2018 Rad Rover e-bike so that I could run an after-market crankset. Worked well.;

Shorter than original bracket but clears both sides. Very pleased with this sealed bottom bracket.;

Fits Mongoose BMX bike perfectly. Go slow threading it in. Coat threads with antiseize. The worst part is getting the junk original parts out. I bought new crank assembly also. The original was heavy junk. The bike is 100 times better now.;

Based on the previous review I too bought this bottom bracket (bb) for my Mongoose Dolomite. I also bought a Shimano M361 Hybrid Crankset.

I did not have the same luck with this bb. My Shimano crank did indeed clear the frame by 1/8 of an inch however when I started riding the bike the crank would hit the frame on BOTH sides. I tried to wrap electrical tape around the frame where the crank was hitting the frame but it really didn't work. So if you are a Mongoose Dolomite owner you will take chances with this BB.

My story did end happily. I sourced a bb from China via Alibaba. the spindle length was 177mm vs the 163mm that this bb has. It cleared the side by at least 1/4 inch. I am good to go! Beware on this bb Dolomite owners!;
