The light has several settings for flashing while riding before sunset and then extremely bright setting for being able to see at night on dark, unlit back country roads. The versatility of the mount allows you to put it on your helmet too. I had an old 3500 version that still works great and now I can put one on the handle bar and the other on my helmet for nighttime mountain biking also. The USB charge works great. Be sure you plug in the right way otherwise it will not charge. If you need a workplace commuter light you can ride in to work in the morning and charge up with your USB on your computer and then ride home on a full charge.;

Bright. low wheight, compact, long burn time, durable, rain proof and fast charging. However, rear rubber cover came off during ride, tidious to mount on bike and requires much care to properly place into USB charging port. Even knowing these drawbacks, I would buy one again.;

I got this to be seen in traffic, not to see better. I'm always a little amazed when a car ahead stops or gives me the right of way. Of course I don't DEPEND on that, but this little light sure seems to get car driver's attention, and way better than the little one it replaced. Had numerous settings for flashing or general illumination. Only annoying thing is the male USB charger connection, but that's easily dealt with.;
