Bought this to replace my aluminum version where my cassette was eating away at it. Only 3 months in riding this steel version looks the same. Maybe I mash my pedals too hard but I expected it would last longer. I use a pg-1070 cassette so that may be the factor;

Great fit and not marring like the aluminum version. Make sure to get the washer on right as your cranks will slightly spin with your rear wheel if you don't.;

The soft Al bodies that come on most Hope evo hubs should be the option and the steel OEM. I've killed a few Al shells they scar so easily and even worse crack. Chicken or the egg type thing weather the inevitable shell cracking is from the cassette scaring the shell or the flex within the shell.;
