Absolutely the best clip style pedals I have ever owned. I have used several styles and different models from different companies. These are by far the most universal all riding type pedals. And I pair them with the crank bros easy release clips. Absolutely great!!;

They are not pretty at all, mine are just plain silver. They come in different colors but it was like double the money. These pedals are indestructible. I have always used egg beaters since the day they were invented. I like having lots of float angle makes it more natural for your knees and hips. I got this specific style because I ride some scary hard trails, the little platform around the egg beater helps you stand on the pedal when you are not clipped in while trying to get out of rough spots. I have this thing were I won't walk my bike out of a situation if I'm on a trail. I will keep doing the spot until I can ride out. This will make you a way more skilled rider. I've been 33 years of Mountain biking and 38 years of cycling in total. These days at age 43 I mostly do free ride, table top jumps and slope style jumps. Anyways, great pedal;

Put these on my urban FX, really nice and super easy to clip in or out.;

Good pedals. Work well and relatively easy to get out of. Only issue I ran into is the product description implied it had traction pins. My version didn't.;
