I ride mostly clipped in on these, but when I'm pulling the child trailer I like to ride with just normal shoes on. These pedals are a great option to allow both. They are easy to clip into, and the opposite side provides a good sized platform for when you don't want to clip in.;

If you have an orange MTB or Gravel bike or just want orange accents, these are a must have. They are not anodized so the color is an excellent, brilliant shade of orange unlike the, I will be orange after I ripen look anodized orange gives. On the other hand, because they are painted they are prone to scratches and chips.

The bad, anodizing leaves edge's sharp, which you want on the flats side. Well the paint not only rounds/ smooths out those edges, it also makes them slick, even when not wet (might as well be ice when wet).

My recommendation, at your own risk, I am sure it voided the warranty; put them in a vice, if you have a drill press even better, drill and tap the nubs and screw in crank brothers pins. Then they're awesome pedals.;
