 My wife is digging this bag and pscyed to take it out on the trail this summer. Super comfy for her (she's 5'8" but note the back straps adjust).

Full walkthru in my video. Osprey makes great bags and this one is as good as the others I've had. Not overdone in terms of features. Instead just a practical bag with some storage options.

Water bag goes between back and bag compartment which is cool and simple (no need to go through gear when refilling during the day). Waist strap has pouches for lip balm and phone/small camera.

Great design from those dudes at Osprey. Attention to detail is the best.;

This backpack sits on the back really nice. It has a nice mesh backing to keep from the pack sitting directly on you and the waist strap is cushioned and comfortable with zips to store small items. I also like all the pockets in the bag to easily store small items and find them without having to dig through the main bag. Overall it's lightweight and well made and Osprey has a great warranty on the product. My only complaint is the bag size - it is on the smaller size - I wanted to be able to fit a change of clothes water and my rock climbing shoes and harness and it's a very tight squeeze (although feasible). Generally speaking though if the size is right for you the bag is a great choice!;

Bought to use in place of my ultimate direction 15L (which LOVE) for a rim2rim in couple months where need more size and wanted to try separate pouch for hydration bladder as multi-day trip. This pack advertises phone pouch but the mesh pouch is tiny and flimsy. Cannot fit even older iPhone 8 with case. That said the structure seems to be very well made…does NOT feel flimsy overall. That said…

The fit on this pack did not fit my chest. It cuts the sides and no adjustment wld wrk. I’m a 36c-d. The UD packs have universal straps straight down chest. The osprey straps cutting off to side only enhanced my chest and was an awkward fit…not something I want on hikes. I don’t know if this is because women’s pack so designed this way but when look at men’s pack the straps are still off to side so fit looks to be the same. I’m returning.

Going with the ultimate direction 20L which though lacking separate hydration pouch (bummer) has the strap placement I love and an awesome phone pouch that fits my iphone12 max.;
