TYR Solid Jammer Swim Suit - Men's, Black, Size 28

TYR is a well know high end swimwear company and I had high expectations for these jammers. Fortunately these held up to training use in a well chlorinated public pool. Fit was snug as expected for a proper swim jammer but not too tight on the thighs (triathlon friendly in this regard fitting this body type). The material is slightly thicker than normal especially around the waist- but did not cause me any issues in the water. The material feels high end when you are using it. The drawstring is thick and properly spaced (other jammers often drop the ball here). The stitching is robust so these should hold up well to a winters worth of masters swim suffering. Overall quite pleased with the Tyr jammers.

I normally wear size 34 pants which have been getting looser and looser due to a calorie deficit IÔøΩve been running. IÔøΩve been adding holes in my belt so I ordered a size 32 which turned out to be way too tight. I can wear it but it really strangles my thighs in an uncomfortable way. Otherwise the material is of good quality and will provide considerable service as long as you figure out the initial fit

I typically use a swim brief because of the perception of greater freedom of movement of my legs.

I had a nice little 2500 yard lap swim today in these.
Despite my bent towards swim briefs I really enjoyed my swim in these.

The look: to me these look like distressed or faded jeans.
Though described as gray they're almost a blue gray.

Fully Lined ya'all.
This pair of jammers is fully lined; typically we only get an extra layer of fabric in the front for jammers.

Black fabric all the way around inside.

Typical to jammers there is no "pouch" per se.
Comfortable nonetheless.

That waist...it's pretty "authoritative" shall we say.
There is a band; elastic or I don't know what at the top.
It's not stangling or anything like that but let's just say it's serious about its job. It is accompanied by a drawstring which you can tie/cinch tighter if you need.

For my 5'10" 165 pound body I'm glad I ordered the size 36.

Even so Misses Shops too much said these made me look like I'm about
145 pounds. Hmmmm....maybe I should wear them all the time...

The bands at the bottom of the legs have an interesting texture; don't know how to describe it; it is comfortable different and does a good job of keeping the legs down.

These are what I would describe as typical great TYR quality; I have many of their briefs but these are just a little different in the way they're built when I compare them with other jammers I have both from TYR and other well known brands.

Nice product glad I ordered it and I will enjoy using these.
