I love these shorts. What I like most as compared to other shorts is that the fabric is very stretchy and not too compressive. As someone whose weight fluctuates it's nice not to have to fight my way into these shorts when I have a few extra pounds on board. And they are resilient enough that they don't stretch out permanently and still offer light compression when I'm a bit smaller. No sausage legs since they aren't overly compressive. And the chamois is fantastic. Not too bulky and comfortable for hours. For reference I am 5'9" and weigh anywhere from 160 to 180. I'm curvy and muscular and carry my weight in my hips thighs etc. I'm currently at the upper end of that weight range and wear a large but I can actually fit into an older medium pairtoo it's just not quite as good a fit.;
