Headsweats Super Duty Shorty Headband: One Size, Black

I wore one of these under my helmet while in Kandahar Afghanistan. Blocks and redirects sweat from pouring over the eyes and directs it all to the tail at the rear. I blotted out the white label with a laundry marker. Not gonna lie I got a lot of flak when I took my helmet off. However keeping the sweat out of your eyes and drawing moisture away from the scalp while wearing a helmet for eight or more hours was worth the ribbing.;

I own two previous similar models of this Super Shorty Beanie and Helmet Liner by Headsweats. While this current model is well made there are two problems I had with it upon trying it on that caused me to return it. 1. The sizing is smaller in circumference and depth than the ones I previously purchased. Although I know the elastic band in the rear of the beanie will loosen up after repeated wear this is clearly smaller than previous models. Those with big heads/hat sizes will find the fit now is much different than previous years models. 2. The two models I have by this brand had a terry cloth type material in the front of the beanie/skullcap which helped absorb sweating. This new model does not have it. I'm very disappointed with this new model's design and sizing. I like this brand but if they all fit like this one did I'm going to have to look for other brands making the same type of product for wear under a bike helmet etc. Disappointing.;

Have been using headsweat caps for years and ordered this expecting same item. Unfortunately they have eliminated the terry strip so this will probably not be as absorbent in hot weather.;

I have been using this brand for many years and they seem to last forever. Newest one continues to show the same quality of manufacture. Used for long distance bicycle riding. Strongly recommend.;
