Excelente opción si usan pedales de plataforma.
No son anchos como otros modelos de mtb.;

These are narrow which is perfect for me but they are narrow so keep that in mind. They also are really long (see photo). They are at least a full inch longer than my same sized 510 freeriders so I highly suggest going 1/2 size smaller. But combined with very narrow fit might mean these simply will not work for you? Also one of the shoes have a deformed sole. Hard to show in photos but I included a couple that hopefully you can see... it both dips below flat and also bumps up above flat. A mfg defect for sure. Wish 510 never sold out to Adidas as it appears quality may have dropped off and Adidas seems to have become Woke so this will most likely be my last pair. The pattern on the bottom of sole is much more open than freeriders so Im concerned they wont stick as good but cant really comment on that cause I havent used them on a ride yet. I purchased these cause I need ankle protection and support after receiving reconstruction surgery on my ankle... still in recovery. I'm returning 1st pair and ordering again to give them a 2nd shot but going 1/2 size smaller. Love my old freeriders hope these live up to 510 reputation and performance !

I have peroneal tendonitis. That's the tendon that attaches to the middle outside of the foot. Just old age and overuse I guess not an injury. It takes 6-8 weeks in a boot to repair. Tendons are like that.

As others have mentioned it is surprising how tight the elastic entrance to the shoe is. After a few times on and off I got used to it. The attached photo (not provided with the shoes) is what I had around to use to help but any cord etc. that will fit through the loop in the back of the shoe sure helps.

I think this shoe will provide enough rigid ankle support to avoid future injury. Fingers crossed.;
