The Wolf Tooth Elliptical 96 BCD chainring is designed to fit 4-arm Shimano XT M8000 and SLX M7000 cranksets.The tooth profile was developed specifically for Shimano's XTR, XT, and SLX 12-speed Hyperglide+ chain. Its proprietary Powertrac design has an ovality of 10% and a timing of 112 degrees after top dead center, providing benefits such as greater rear wheel traction.These rings will fit on Shimano XT M8000 and SLX M7000 1x or 2x cranksets. Compatible only with Hyperglide+ chains. The Powertrac elliptical design means the diameter is that of a chainring 2t bigger. Engineered proprietary tooth profile maintains the quiet and smooth performance of the HG+ drivetrain with optimal chain retention. Prevents premature ring and chain wear that can come from non-optimized profiles.
