Cygolite Seatpost Bracket Black With Cygolite Hotshot And Hotshot SL

My bike was stolen but my light was charging. So there I was with a light and now way to attach it to my new bike. I was thrilled to find this part. The light snaps right in and doesn't move at all. Very sturdy and a perfect fit.;

this mfgrs front light uses a thumb screw and swingaway hinge and the old style rubber shims to install-but can be moved to another bike in a minute.
The back like this needs a size 2 Philips screwdriver to fully remove the screw and some rubber shims to swap. The retainer clip had weak tension on arrival. sigh and for the price the ask...;

This is very useful to share one Cygolite Hotshot among more than one bike. However the screw is unnecessarily long. It sticks out even on a 31.6mm seat post with the included rubber shim.

Another reviewer pointed out it is impossible to get the light perfectly horizontal which is critical for long distance visibility. I solved this problem by using a small metal washer to allow for infinite adjustability with Loctite thread locker compound applied on both sides of the washer to prevent slippage.;

I'm a big fan of the Cygolite system and use my light set on numerous bikes. This nice lil mount pays for itself with how convenient it makes mounting your light non-permanently.;

Picked up a Cygolite Metro 800 and Hotshot Pro 150 set and decided a second set of mounts was easier than moving one set of mounts between my two bicycles.;
