Blade jammed on first cut. Opened the blade shell and saw that the blade was not aligned. Therefore it penetrated the surrounding plastic and jammed.

The press portion worked fine for installing the barb.

I think it‘s a good devise. Maybe mine was just a one-off on the blade.;

If you adjust/replace brake hose cabling then you MUST have this tool. Sure you can cut the hose manually but this unit does more than cutting. It helps with installation of the tiny metal ends etc. Worth the price if you're going to install more than a few cables in your lifetime.;
