Used this with my Shimano BB9000 bottom bracket as I didn't care for the plastic adapter that came with it. This fits snugly on the BB9000 so that it won't mar the finish. It does need a 1/2" drive ratchet and I needed an adapter to use my 3/8" drive torque wrench. You can also use a 32mm wrench or socket on it as well if you need a large breaker bar to break the bottom bracket loose.;

Perfect for what it was designed to do. Nice that you can use a breaker bar to back the bottom bracket out and use a torque wrench to put it back in.;
