Well made (like most all Shimano stuff is)... and does the job. Delivers both power and signal (via what would appear to be a two wire canbus style system) between components. Not cheap for a cable but it required for use. Many different lengths are available. Be sure to measure carefully and allow for some slack which can always be stuffed in or under the frame.;
